Swimming

This week we went swimming it was our first time since term 2. It was so nice and cold but I thought it was a little too cold. But it was fun anyways, on 12th December I went swimming and we played water polo with Rm:24 we lost but it was fun anyways. Then we made a whirl pool and jumped over in and under stuff. When we played water polo I got a little too excited and I was hitting the ball out when Rm:24 threw to one of there team mates. It was easy you just had to run while in the water. We had a little bit of free time so I played with my friends and they tackled me over and I tackled them over and then we had to get out and get changed.

E.O.D Show Don't Tell. Beach Ed

This is my writing about Beach Ed and What I thought about it.GamesMonday 2nd of December I went to Pt Chev beach. For Beach Ed it was kind of fun but Me and some other people didn’t get a turn at the T-ball game so that wasn’t fun at all. My favourite part was the tug of war game because it was challenging versing Rm:7 the stress on both classes face was tiring and people were eagerly waiting for someone to win. I really liked Non-stop cricket it was really really tiring running around the cone alot of times but it was worth it, but then I hit the wicket which instantly got me out. When we played the musical towels I was in the final 2 but unfortunately I lost. I really like the ball toss with your towel me and my buddy Nicholas were good at catching it.Beach GamesMy first beach game was the sponge game our team came 2nd but it was fine. We were very tired after it so I just threw my sponge into the water so it was easier for me. But then me and my buddy Dekovyn started coming first in th rest of them. We came first for the duo relays the group relays and the over & under game. We tried winning the group relays but we let go once but still came 2nd. We won every other race but 2. But the whole thing was fun anyways.

Who Am I

This week we had Mr. Presnell. We done a Show Dont Tell it was fun but challenging to know who to do. Well it was really fun try guessing mine it is kind of hard.

I have an arrow going down my forehead It is blue.I have a staff that can make me fly with a flick of the wrist I wear a red and gold coat.I sound very loud when I Fight.I smell very clean?I am the last of my kind and protector of a village.

He is very nice and he doesn’t want anyone to be hurt unless it comes to danger. He speaks very adultish and acts very much like an adult. He moves very Swiftly. And brings peace to the 4 elements.       

He Spreads kindness but to the bad. He affects people as a hero to every element but. He always comes to the rescue. He reacts very fast to people in need of help.

He likes his friends and his people. He owns the air temple and is in a very good environment.

Week 2 Writing

This week we have been varying our sentences and starting our sentences with different words and make a story from day 1, day 2, day 3. Here is my story: As I nervously walked up the creaking stairs, I saw the crow with something mysterious in it's mouth. It went straight through the forbidden tower… Going in didn't start well Time was running out! They only had a matter of minutes. Darkness was everywhere surrounding my eyes not one glow lit into the tower the only source of light was the moon but it barely shined into the place. A mist of fog was ahead of me then thunder struck. A silhouette slowly emerged from the fog . I ran the opposite way of the silhouette and found a key but it was just a diversion for the figure to catch up to me. Walls blocked my paths when I tried making my way to the vintage door I came through but it slammed shut so hard it got jammed as if the figure summoned something, I kept finding keys all around the place but when I bent down to get it the key went straight through my hand.  some of them were just holograms leading me to a mysterious room it was a trap.

The crow flew past swiftly as it blended in with the air but something gleemed with a great shine THE KEY She had been chasing it all day. Now, the crow had it. I ran after it so quickly I didn’t pay attention to the stick blended in with every thing on the floor and tripped spraying my ankle as I fall. The crow looked like it had a evil grin staring right at me staying still on the old rusty clock. As I tried my best making no sound across the room, bats were above me hanging upside down I was walking as I got so close to the crow I made a noise the crackling leaf cracked so loud it echoed down the hall giving attention to the crow right in front of me it tried flying but when it did everything started fading the crow disappearing into nothing but thin air the clock stopped at twelve and faded, all that was left was me and the KEY.

I was free I stumbled down on my knees and nothing was in front of me but a ice cold ocean.  She embarked on a journey across the ocean. I walked along the icey water leaving cracks as I step looking down beneath my feet I see the clear blue ocean never looking back I carried on my long walk...

Happy Birthday Owairaka

Today was a very Special day at 9:00 Owairaka assembled. Today was Owairaka District School's Birthday, also the art exhibition opened and one of the Members from Rm:25 were honoured to help cut the cake. Someone famous that really liked art also. Her name was Sarah and her kids Niko and Luke also come to this School. 

Fun Fact: In 1929 Owairaka used to be named Richardson Rd School. Then in 1930 it was named Owairaka.Fun Fact: cake was cut by the Oldest and Youngest students here. which were Mushdah (from our class) and Jamie.Sheryl Fletcher also talked about the history of Owairaka and those who came to this School and who left. 

Also the Kapa Haka played a role in the Birthday we were the ones that lead the School Song

When it was getting to the end the whole School done the School Song and the Kapa Haka leaded that we were the ones who had to do the actions and everybody had to follow what we done.

Music Lessons

Today My Class went to our first Music lesson here is my post.

We also learned a bit of reading notes we also learned a bit about drums even though we played on the buckets but we still got the drum sticks. Mohamad and I really liked drums. Mohamad also like tapping the buckets with thi drum sticks. Mohamad and I really liked doing the beats and because it was our first at music lessons it was really fun.
